NEW: MA Gas Prices Drop 4 Cents From Last Week

AAA's latest survey shows that self-serve, regular unleaded is averaging $1.73 per gallon, three cents higher than the national average.
The current prices are 48 cents lower than a year ago at this time.
Local gas prices and their ranges are as follows:
Self Serve Grade
$1.73 ($1.57-$1.99) Regular Unleaded
$2.15 ($1.89-$2.45) Midgrade Unleaded
$2.31 ($1.99-$2.79) Premium Unleaded
$2.05 ($1.79-$2.49) Diesel
