According to many a Facebook and Twitter status, it’s been snowy lately. Hmm, interesting. Want to feel like you’ve been lounging on the beach instead of shoveling out your car? We found some hot beauty products and services that will make you feel fresh, not frozen!

Smolder

A gorgeous tan is a dead giveaway that you’ve been spending some time where the sun does shine (or at least let them think you have!). Head on over to Gloss & Glamour (North Providence) for Airbrush Tanning ($30 for 15 minutes) with natural-looking (read: no orange here!) results. Have a “glow gathering” with five or more friends get your tan for free! Or tan at home with Clarins Self Tanning Instant Gel ($32.50, Nordstrom, Providence). This lightweight gel glides on and absorbs instantly so no waiting to dress! A quick tip: be sure to exfoliate skin prior to tanning but do not moisturize to avoid streaks.

From scalp massages to aromatic treatments to scalp and hair treatments, there is something for everyone and you will walk out feeling like a dry 80 degrees. Want a DIY treatment? Cut up a whole, ripe avocado (the softer, the better) and mix it with a bit of olive oil until you have a nice paste. Apply to hair for 5-7 minutes then rinse. Instant gorgeous!
