Don’t Miss: Anthropologie’s “Sit, Stay, Love” Pet Adoption Event

Tuesday, September 13, 2011

One of Rhode Island's hippest home and fashion retailers is opening its doors this weekend for the love of animals who themselves need a home.

Anthropologie, in Cranston's Garden City, has partnered with the Providence Animal Rescue League to host "Sit, Stay, Love," part of the chain's national program to help homeless animals. On Saturday, September 17, Rhode Island's shop will host a pet supply drive and dog adoption in the store from noon to 3pm.

Customers are invited to bring their own dogs, donations for PARL, and a readiness to adopt one of PARL's dogs who are looking for a cozy new place to live. PARL will have everything in place for new owners to walk out with their new best friends.

The folks at Anthropologie promise special canine treats for the day's events, and lots of four-legged love.

Anthropologie, Garden City Shopping Center, 56 Hillside Rd, Cranston, 275-0205.
