Nails
Gone are the days of just pink, red or a French mani for your hands. This season’s hot colors include pearly grays and smoky hues. Try Christian Dior’s City Gris collection ($22 each, Nordstrom, Providence), a line of nail lacquers that pay homage to the urban colors in Paris, London and New York. Or ask for OPI Moon Over Mumbai (available at Christiaan Salon and Day Spa, Providence) on your fingers or toes for an iridescent gray.
Lips
Brighten up! Yes, you can have bright lips that look gorgeous and fashion forward, not clownish or off-season. Bright pinks, oranges and reds are it this season and your lips will thank you. Fall in love with Tarte LipSurgence Natural Lipluster in Glisten ($24, Sephora, Providence), a shimmery peach that goes on easily. You can also go for a deep, matte, look with Stila’s Longwear Liquid Lipcolor in Petal ($22, Facing Thayer, Providence).
Cheeks
Do you blush easily? If yes, you’re already on-trend! This season’s cheek colors are reds and deep pinks, applied more on the cheek and less on the apple. Colors we adore are Smashbox’s Blush Rush in Radiant ($24, New Leaf Hair Studio, Bristol), a bright pink that gives you an instant glow. Or pick up Neutrogena’s Mineral Sheers Blush ($12, drugstores) in Natural Apricot for a punch of peach.
Eyes
Let your eyes stand out with gorgeous blues and greens, a major trend for spring. No matter if you’re eyes are blue, green, brown or in between because these colors are versatile. Do a gentle wash of color on your lids effortlessly with Benefit’s Creaseless Cream Shadow ($19, Ulta, Warwick) in Stiletto for a lovely pop of pink. Or go for the gusto with Rimmel Glam Eyes Mono Eyeshadow in Posh Peacock ($4, drug stores) for a blitzed out blue sure to be noticed and admired.
