The LOOK: Easy, Effortlessly Holiday Hair For Your Company Party

This year, the top knot has finally caught on--off last years runways and into the Main Street media and magazine looks, You want it to look effortless and lived-in; not too pulled and dramatic.

This is definitely the 5 minute 'do' when running from the office to your party.

Here is the breakdown on how to achieve the look in 3 easy steps:

1) Turn your head upside-down and gather hair into a top ponytail. Then secure with a hair band, making sure not to pull the ponytail completely through on your last wrap of hair band,

2) Use hair pins at to form into the shape you like , then use a tail comb to lift at the hair line to soften look.

3) Lastly, spray with light hold flexible hairspray.

He's styled on location alongside film stylist Alan D'Angerio on the film, The Odd Life of Timothy Green, starring Jennifer Garner. He's been in the industry for 17 years, moving from hip neighborhoods in Chicago, to Boston's Newbury St, to Bellevue Avenue in Newport. He maintains that his real passion, though, is being behind a salon chair at Frank Antonio Hair and Makeup in Newport.

The Sprinkler Factory

The Sprinkler Factory is a unique gem in Downtown Worcester and a true center for all the arts. Once a manufacturing plant, the Sprinkler Factory now provides space for individual artists to form their own studios and contains areas for music, dance, and other fun activities. The massive atrium on the second floor in the middle of the complex is available for local artists to show their work. The public is welcome to browse the artists' studios and galleries. An upcoming exhibition entitled Indoor Games , runs from December 7 through January 25, captures the spirit of creativity during the winter months.

Boulder Art Gallery

Since its opening in 2008 by founders by Ann and Peter Capodagli, the Boulder Art Gallery has been committed to showing original and vintage paintings, photographs, prints and sculptures from the region's most talented artists.
