This week we get into the thick of it with thick hair!
Whether you're a man or a woman, thick hair turns heads. We always hear, "Wow she has such beautiful, thick hair!" It represents health and vigor.
If you haven't inherited a thick mane of hair, here are some steps you can apply to keeping and achieving a full, thick head of hair... just in time for spring breezes!
1. The most important element is diet.
Make sure you're eating foods rich in fatty acids and omega 3's.
2. Do not over-wash.
Two times a week is best, if you're not working out. If you are working up a sweat regularly, I would suggest using dry shampoos, spray-on or powder-on. There are so many out there, and they're great in a pinch (not to mention when a late-night cooking spree might leave you smelling like the local diner!).
3. Stimulate yourself.
Stimulating your scalp helps as well. Brushing and massaging will aid in blood flow to the scalp.
Remember: We are taught to work out and go to the gym to care for our bodies. We read to challenge our minds with games to care for our bodies. Now it is time to care for our scalps to care for our hair. Wishing you all healthy happy scalps and thick beautiful hair.
