5 New Directors Join Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce

The Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce has elected five new member to served on their Board of Directors for the 2015-16 year.
The newest directors were welcomed by Chairman William Kerrissey Jr., at the BVCC's Annual Meeting Dinner and Awards Ceremony.
The newest directors are:
Betsey Brewer serves as the Curator of Conservation and Education and has been an Executive at Southwick’s Zoo in Mendon, MA for more than 25 years.
Heather Elster is the Executive Director of the Whitin Community Center in Whitinsville, MA., and oversees all areas of the nonprofit organization including the planning, development, and implementation of the organizations strategic short and long range goals; marketing, communications, and public relations; and fundraising efforts.
Daniel F. Girard Jr. is the President and Founder of Girard Financial Group, beginning his began his career in the insurance and financial services industry in 1999.
Laurence Morrison serves as chairman of the Quinsigmond Community College Foundation Board of Directors where he oversees the non-profit branch of the college.
Martin Richman is currently vice president of philanthropy and executive director of the Milford Regional Healthcare Foundation where he oversees all fundraising and community relations activities for Milford Regional Medical Center.
The BVCC is an independent, not for profit organization governed by an annually elected Board of Directors.
