The assets of 38 Studios will go to auction on 2 successive Mondays, in Maryland and then in Rhode Island.
Thousands of items available will be auctioned, including over 500 high-end Dell workstations, over 850 24” & 20” monitors, as well as high-end servers, graphic design, animation & audio recording equipment, like new office workstations, chairs, conference tables and so much more.
SJ Corio Company has handled auctions, appraisals and liquidations of commercial and industrial equipment in Southeastern New England for over 25 years. Corio is widely known for his quick and energetic approach to the live auction business.
Registration and inspection will begin at 9:00AM EST each morning of the auctions, with live auction bidding commencing at 10:30AM EST. Rhode Island on the hook for $100+million because they lured away from Massachusetts 38 studios and their unbelievable request for so much state funding to do the start up.........Massachusetts rightfully walked away from such a specious venture while Rhode Island jumped at it hook line and sinker............and....well we know the end results now........Governor Patrick/Lt.Gov Murray had it spot on from the start and saved Massachusetts taxppayers $100+ million............let Rhode Island figure out how to clean up the economic mess they were crowing about less than 2 years ago......RI taxpayers must be really pissed off in losing amd having to pay back the $100million...that curt schilling scammed them out of..........
