NEW:  Shrewsbury-Based Elevation Exhibits Adds 4 to Staff

Tuesday, July 17, 2012

The new Rooster Teeth booth, by Elevation Exhibits & Events, is designed like a movie theater set, with crushed red velvet carpet and marquee lighting.

Elevation Exhibits & Events, an award-winning exhibit design and event-planning firm, announced the addition of four new staff members to support its growing client list and entry into new markets.

Jim Burke, founder and principal of Elevation Exhibits & Events, said this is the company's second staff increase in recent months, and follows the addition of an exciting new client, Rooster Teeth, in the burgeoning fan-based industry of gaming, comics, video and film.

"Many of our clients are in markets that are dynamic and fast-growing, and they need fresh thinking, often on short notice," said Burke.

Burke said the recent hires have deepened Elevation Exhibits & Events’ capabilities in the areas of tradeshow planning, booth design, and comprehensive event marketing. He said the company has also added staff to strengthen services to existing clients.

New hires include Sue Kelly, Account Manager, Steve Barch, Account Executive for Business Development, Tom Mitchell, Graphic Designer and Arriane Aktarian, Exhibit Designer.

Kelly brings twenty years of show experience including show management, general contracting, and exhibit design. Barch has fourteen years of experience, with a focus on graphic design and production, and design team management. Barch will oversee the success and growth of both existing and new clients.

Mitchell will provide graphic design services to clients from concept to final production. Aktarian is a recent graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, where she was awarded a Presidential Merit Scholarship and was selected to exhibit her thesis work at the annual Pratt Show.
