Quaboag Valley CDC Receives Tax Credit Award

State Senator Anne Gobi, Representative Todd Smola and Representative Donald Berthiaume have announced that Quaboag Valley CDC has received a $130,000 tax credit award through the Community Investment Tax Credit program.
"The Quaboag Valley Community Development Corporation has a history of assisting people in starting and growing businesses. This award is well deserved and will provide resources that improve our region," said Senator Gobi.
The Quaboag CDC is a private non-profit corporation. As a project focused organization, it has an ability to obtain funding from a variety of public and private sources.
"The Quaboag Valley CDC, along with the chamber of commerce, has continually demonstrated great involvement in the local business community. This funding will go a long way to help the local businesses in the Quaboag Valley," said Representative Berthiaume.
Representative Smola added "The Quaboag Valley CDC has been a longtime friend of the community. I'm thrilled to hear that they will be receiving this grant, the money will be put to good use in aiding local businesses."
