StartUp Worcester Application Deadline Set for March 14

The deadline for StartUp Worcester Applicants is set for Monday, March 14. An announcement revealing the 12 businesses selected will take place in mid-May. 

The Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce's Higher Education Business Partnership is excited but he applications that they have received so far in the race to win a spot in the program that supports entrepreneurs who wish to take their idea to market.

Last Year's Applicants 

Last year, about 24 applicants competed for 12 spots. Among those selected were three game developers, an agroponics venture whose goal is to grow food more efficiently, and a fashion blog that assists women with owning their professional image by recommending attire and providing fashion forward advice. 

StartUp Worcester 

StartUp Worcester supports local, entrepreneurial college and university graduates to help launch their business concepts.
