United Way of Central Massachusetts Announces Opening of Annual Grant Cycle

United Way of Central Massachusetts has announced the beginning of their annual grant cycle on December 12 with a request for proposals (RFP) from organizations who require funding. The non-profit foundation is currently seeking applications that seek to fund Women’s Initiatives and Creating Community Change in Central Massachusetts. 

Agencies interested in applying for funding in one or both of these areas is invited to visit united Way of Central Massachusetts website to see if they meet the qualifications specified by funding guidance and submit applications through the site. 

Pre-Proposal Sessions will be held on December 18 and 19 to help organizations to learn more about this grant opportunity and get detailed instructions for the online application process. The Pre-Proposal Session for candidates seeking funding for Women’s Initiatives will be held on December 18 at Seven Hills Foundation (81 Hope Avenue, Worcester) at 2 p.m. The Creating Community Change Session will be held the following day, December 19 at United Way of Central Massachusetts’s offices  at 2 p.m. The snow date for both sessions will be December 22 at 9 a.m. in the United Way offices. 

There will also be an Informational Technical Session for ANDAR January 5 at 1p.m. in the United Way offices with a snow date on January 6 at 1 p.m. in the same location. 

Application deadlines are the following: January 23 2015 for Women’s Initiative applicants and February 4 2015 for Creating Community Change applicants.
