The Boston Globe, once the biggest force in media, has been in decline over the past decade, and now faces an uncertain future.
Henry bought the Globe individually and outside of the Fenway Sports Group, making this his first effort in the news media business. After making a fortune in investment funds, Henry has built a diverse sports group that includes the Red Sox, Roush Fenway Racing, Liverpool Football Club, and NESN.
