Looking to shake up your weekend plans? Check out which local watering holes are concocting the best signature cocktails. Here are our choices for the best of Worcester’s mixology, shaken, not stirred.

Still & Stir

Demand, “Make me a Bicycle Clown,” and have a Still & Stir bartender hand-design a cocktail just for you. If you’re feeling less daring, choose from an extensive cocktail list that includes the “Big Lebowski,” (Catdaddy Moonshine, House Lime Cordial, Falernum Bitters, soda water), and the “Love is a Battlefield,” (Bols Genever, Carpano Antica, Strawberry-Thyme Gastrique, fresh lime, Angostura Bitters, egg white).

One Eleven Chop House

Sample the seasonal cocktails at this steakhouse, or stick to the classics. Got a sweet tooth? Try the “Cotton Candy Cosmo,” a lip-smacking combination of Stoli Razberi, Stoli Vanil, Stoli Oranj, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice.

Citizen’s Wine Bar

Sure, it may be a wine bar, but don’t let that distract you from the fantastic signature cocktails the bartenders dream up here. Gin-lovers should test-drive the “Going Green,” (Blue Coat Gin, elderflower, house-made garden syrup, fresh lime juice, and sparkling wine).

This pastry shop, bar, and lounge calls for a girl’s night out. Order a mouth-watering dessert while you sip a “Tiramisu Martini,” (V-One Vodka, coffee liquour, expresso shot, creme de cocoa, Coopers Hilltop Farm cream).

You will be hard pressed to find a cooler bar than the one at EVO.

EVO

While Evo is known mostly for its delicious food and health conscious menu items, don't sleep on it as a great place to grab a drink. With a trendy and fully stocked bar just off to the side of the main dining room, you can drink up in a festive atmosphere. Try one of their many martinis and make some new friends.

Publick House

The Publick House Historic Inn & Country Lounge may not be in Worcester but if you make the trip out to Sturbridge, you won't be disappointed. There are several dining options and, if it's a stiff drink you want with your food, head to the Historic Tap Room. The Tap Room offers 14 specialty martinis, each dedicated to a room in the Publick House. Beat the heat with the Sunrise from the Pineapple Room (Skyy pineapple, Don Q coconut rum, orange juice and a drop of grenadine).
