Some Latte Art from Bean Counter

National Coffee Day is this Saturday. Sure, for many, every day is coffee day, but now there is a special holiday to celebrate America's need for caffeine. Many national chains like McDonalds and 7-eleven are offering great deals on coffee this week in honor of the day, but don’t forget about the many terrific local joints that offer some of the tastiest and most unique flavors and blends of coffee you'll ever find. Here are just a few places in the Worcester area that can help you celebrate National Coffee Day.

InHouse Coffee
InHouse Coffee features an extensive selection of all the types, blends, and flavors of coffee one could dream of.  Get some much needed energy from their various selection of espressos, or try their tasty and unique Chocolate Raspberry, Blueberry Cobbler, or Caramel Apple roasts. There is much more where that came from. You will be sure to find a flavor you'll enjoy.

Bean Counter Bakery

It will be hard to find a bakery or coffee shop that puts more effort into providing you with a pleasant viewing experience of your food or drink before you dig in. Look to see if the fresh, micro-roasted, premium brew in your coffee cup has a lovely design on the surface before taking a sip. The shop has won numerous awards for both its coffee and desserts.

Acoustic Java
What makes Acoustic Java especially unique is its hands-on and caring approach to the coffee they make for you. All beans are roasted on site in small batches each day. Beans are shipped directly from their places of origin, perhaps Ethiopia or Sumatra for example, and are not blended together so you can be sure you are getting an authentic brew of fresh java.

Black Diamond Coffee

They also sell coffee in 12 oz bags if you wish to take some home with you.

Z Cafe
Z-Cafe isn't open Saturday or Sunday but if you want to take a quick break from work on a Friday or you have a long weekend in store, Z-Cafe is the perfect to hop in and grab quick bit to eat with some coffee. You can then explore the numerous famed Worcester attractions around it. Try some Vanilla Chai or a frozen Mochachino.
