Massachusetts #4 In US For Ice Cream Eating

In a truly summertime data crunch (not a bad ice cream flavor), the website assessed ice cream consumption per capita based on credit card transactions at ice cream and frozen yogurt vendors. Massachusetts had the #42 highest consumption per capita, beat out in New England by Rhode Island at #2.
Topping the sweet ranking was Washington, DC at #1, followed by Rhode Island at #2 and Wisconsin at #3. Texas followed Massachsuetts at #5. Rounding out the rest of the Top 10 were Connecticut (#6), Delaware (#7), Utah (#8), New Hampshire (#9), and Kansas (#10).

Bundle also captured the Top 10 major metropolitan areas with the highest per capita consumption. They were:
#1 Long Beach, CA
#2 Dallas, TX
#4 Columbus, OH
#5 Milwaukee, WI
#6 Fort Worth, TX
#7 Washington, DC
#8 Bakersfield, CA
#9 Fresno, CA
#10 Portland, OR
