Mickey O’Neil’s to Hold Grand Re-Opening on April 1

Thursday, March 26, 2015

As of April 1, new management will officially take over at Mickey O'Neil's bar on Park Avenue in Worcester.

According to new co-manager Joe Herman, the bar will remain as is and he and fellow manager Jason Grayson will stay committed to sponsoring the bar's softball team, dart night and other events held at the bar during the week.

"We want to piggyback on the success that they've already had there," said Herman. "And then we want to bring in our friends and people we know, and keep the neighborhood feel to it. The previous managment did a phenomenal job with it and we want to continue that."

Herman is hoping that Mickey O'Neil's will be able to work with local restaurants to allow its customers to order food from businesses in the area.

As far as staffing is concerned, current Mickey O'Neil's employees will have the opportunity to interview to remain on staff.

On April 1, the new management team will host a "Grand Re-Opening" with complimentary appetizers and live music.
