Old Sturbridge Village to host Craft Beer & Roots Music Festival
The festival will take place on Saturday, July 21 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“Visitors to the living history museum on Saturday, July 21st will have the chance to sample some of the region's finest craft beers from two dozen craft breweries representing the New England states. In addition, musical artists and bands will perform on three stages at different locations in the Village,” said Old Sturbridge Village in their press release.
General admission to the museum on the day of the event includes the six beer samples per adult, as well as all musical performances, in addition to the museum's regular features, exhibitions, and programs.
The Festival
Craft breweries representative of the region's top beers, ciders, and ales, will offer guests over 21 years of age up to six, 2-ounce samples.
A valid photo-ID is required. Full bottles will also be available for purchase, as well as additional sample cards.
Participating breweries include:
Altruist Brewing Company, Connecticut Valley Brewing Company, Down the Road Brewery, Flying Dreams Brewing Company, Foundation Brewing Company, Geary's, Greater Good Imperial Brewing Co., Grey Sail Brewing of RI, Lefty's Brewing Company, Mayflower Brewing Company, Oakholm Brewing Company, Rapscallion Brewing Company, Revival Brewing Company, Spencer Brewery, Stone Cow Brewery, Switchback Brewing Co., Stony Creek Brewery, Wachusett Brewing Co., and Wormtown Brewery.
At three outdoor stages, musical artists will bring the sounds of bluegrass, country, folk and roots music to the Village.

Latin American Music Festival at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet
Providence, RI
A celebration of Latin culture that showcases the music, art, food, and dance styles of countries like Mexico, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Bolivia, Puerto Rico, and many more.
The festival will be filled with live performances from dance groups, musicians, and vocalists who are ready to put on a show.

Hornsby's music has been recognized on a number of occasions with awards, including the 1987 Grammy Award for Best New Artist with Bruce Hornsby and the Range, the 1990 Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album, and the 1994 Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance
