Sake Bomb Bistro, sister restaurant of the popular Kenichi Bistro, is now open on Park Avenue in Worcester. Sake Bomb provides a wide variety of fresh sushi and Asian cuisine. Customers can sit at the sushi bar where Executive Sushi Chef Kenny Huang will make his signature sushi dishes, sashimi, and Makimono. The bar at Sake Bomb serves Polynesian drinks, wth a large selection of wine and beer.
"Sake bomb is family-owned restaurant, and the quality of our food and service is really important to us. Our friendly staff would always make sure our customers are happy and have a great dining experience. You will feel comfortable and warm as you walk in. Sake Bomb has a very relaxing and classic atmosphere. Sake Bomb is a fun name, is good for all ages, and very reasonable priced," said Patty Xie, manager's assitant at Sake Bomb.
The Bistro's lunch specials are remarkably low priced. Each sushi special comes with a choice of soup or salad for only $10.95. The kitchen lunch specials come with your choice of Crab Rangoon, Chicken Wings or Egg Roll and Served with Pork Fried Rice or White Rice. The average kitchen lunch special is only $7.95.
"Our executive chef and co-owner Kenny Huang has created a special Christmas roll for this season, you will see white, green, red on the roll," said Xie.
The Sake Bomb Special Maki is two shrimp tempura, avocado, and cucumber rolled with soy bean wrapper and topped with spicy scallop mixed with spicy crabmeat.
For sports fans, Sake Bomb offers four sushi rolls nicknamed after the four major sports teams. The Celtics Maki is made with lobster tempura, cucumber, spicy mayo, topped with red snapper, avocado, green tobiko and a special sauce. The Patriots Maki is tuna, salmon, asparagus, mozzarella cheese, topped with mango & crabmeat salad. The Red Sox Maki is tuna, cucumber, avocado, spicy chili sauce and topped with tuna, eel, and sweet & sour red pepper. The Bruins Maki is crabstick, fish roe, cucumber, and avocado, topped with salmon, jalapeno and hot chili sauce.
