Snapchef has announced the opening of a new office in Downtown Worcester. The new office will be located at 20 Franklin Street and will serve as the company's Central Massachusetts headquarters and plans to hire 50 culinary professionals immediately.
“Downtown Worcester provides Snapchef with a very desirable location that will help our company increase its ability to attract talent and serve clientele. SnapChef was convinced by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development that the workforce we needed to serve clients existed in Central Massachusetts. We appreciate the support that Snapchef has received during this expansion from the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Worcester Business Development Corporation,” said Snapchef CEO, Todd Snopkowski.
Snapchef worked with Worcester economic development officials from the Worcester Business Development Corporation and the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce to find the best location.
“We are thrilled that Chamber member Todd Snopkowski and Snapchef chose a downtown Worcester location for their expansion into the region. Worcester’s key assets – our central location, large workforce, access to public transportation, and many other advantages – will help them to grow their business and serve their clients. We are pleased to support this growing company and welcome them as another important part of the revitalization of Worcester’s downtown," said Timothy Murray, President and CEO of the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Snapchef
Snapchef trains culinary staff for temporary and permanent job placement throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island by ensuring each staff member has the proper skill set to assist any culinary environment.
Snapchef employees are trained on ServSafe certified food preparation and handling along with work place safety training in order to serve a variety of clients.
Snapchef employees are trained through Snapchef Fast Track Curriculum and placed into work based learning with major universities, hospitals and five star restaurants.
Last year, Snapchef was responsible for over providing more than 700 people with jobs in Massachusetts.
