New: Worcester’s Why Me and Sherry’s House Asking for Supplies for Families
Tuesday, June 17, 2014
"We are looking for water, juice boxes, big bags of chips, little bags of chips, little kid type snacks, and soda. It is for the families that are living here as well as other local families we support. They will also go to Umass Clinic with us for the kids getting treatment," said Robyn Lewis, marketing manager for Why Me and Sherry's House.
Why Me is a Worcester-based nonprofit that has helped families coping with childhood cancer since 1985. Sherry's House serves as an expense-free home for over 500 Why Me families dealing with childhood cancer. The organization is asking for supplies and snack foods for the children they house and care for.
