Spectrum Health Systems Awarded Best Expansion Project
Monday, December 21, 2015
The award symbolizes Spectrum's commitment to being a partner in the region's economic development, from construction jobs to site improvements and expansion of the workforce.
"Our relationship with the Town of Westborough is second to none. That relationship has allowed Spectrum to meet the demand for addiction treatment through thoughtful planning and design, in collaboration with town employees, public safety and community members. Growth without a plan is not sustainable growth," said Spectrum President and CEO Chuck Faris.
The Westborough EDC noted the growth seen at Spectrum has contributed to the expansion of almost 362,000 square feet of commercial and industrial space in the town.
Spectrum added over 40,000 square feet in the newly constructed 104 bed Faris Recovery Center earlier this year.
Westborough EDC
The Westborough Economic Development Committee was formed in 2008 and is made up of town officials and appointed business leaders.
