Whitinsville Christian’s Epplett Awarded Top Female Athlete

Whitinsville Christian High School senior Abby Epplett dominated the District E Track and Field Class Meet and was presented with the 2014 Ev Ingalls Award for Outstanding Female Athlete at the meet.

Epplett won the 400m Hurdles and blazed a meet record time of 1:05.90.  She also won the 100m hurdles in 16.36 seconds and stole the show in the long jump with a meet-best leap of 16 feet, 8.5 inches.

The Ev Ingalls Award is named for former Nashoba Regional School Track and Football coach Everett Ingalls. 

Epplett will attend Wheaton College in the Fall and will compete on the Lyons' Track and Field team.  She plans on majoring in English and Creative Writing.
