Max
Hi! My name is Max. I am estimated to be between 10-14 years old and weigh about 13 pounds. Despite my age, I am pretty active and enjoy going for walks and napping in the grass. My foster mom tried to take some pictures of me, but I just wanted to roll in the grass and give her kisses. It doesn't get any better than rolling in the grass with my favorite friends and a full belly!
I'm new to Broken Tail and hopefully I'll find a furever home soon! My foster mom and I are just starting to get acquainted, but I seem to be housebroken (with limited marking). I'm super friendly with adults, kids, dogs and cats! The vet checked me out and said I am healthy, I have been neutered, I am up to date on my vaccinations and going to the dentist this weekend to get my teeth cleaned. Stay tuned for updates.

Coleman and Chloe
Hi, I'm Coleman, and I'm half of a great package deal with my little sister Chloe. I'm a sweet, 10 years young chihuahua mix, and Chloe is a 5 year old terrier mix. Together we're a super cute pair who would love to have our very own people to love.
Coleman says: My favorite pastime is snuggling with my foster mom on the couch or in bed. I also love bringing you my toys so we can play fetch. My sister and I enjoy playing tag and chasing each other around until we tire ourselves out.
Chloe says: I love to have fun! I'm an energetic but well-behaved girl. My foster mom says I'm like a 7 pound pogo stick. I love to be with my people and follow them from room to room, or snuggle up with them to watch some TV.
Chloe and Coleman would love a quiet forever home where they can go for walks, help out in the garden, and share a couch cushion with their person. Their ideal home would be one with only children 12+, or a one or two person home with a very laid back lifestyle. No cats please-- they're just too tempting for Coleman.
Chloe and Coleman are up to date on their vaccinations, microchipped, and housetrained. They are being fostered in Charlton, and the adoption fee of $300 will cover them both.

Della
I'm Della, and I'm friendly and fun! I'm about 6 years old, but I'm so active and playful that my foster mom thought I was much younger. I am also a snuggle bug and will lay on you for petting; my cheeks especially! I was adopted from another shelter by my previous owner about a year ago, but they couldn't keep me, so I need a new family again -- this time forever. I don't love other cats, but I live with one now, and we mostly just ignore each other. I'm diabetic, but don't let that faze you! I just need a quick insulin shot twice a day at mealtimes, and they're not hard to give. And I'm worth it!

Calvin
Meet Calvin! Cal is a very friendly, energetic pitbull/meatball mix. The vet estimated him to be approximately 1-2 years old. He weighs in at a little over 60 lbs, but the top of his head will only reach your knee. He’s a low rider! As most young pitties are, Calvin is full of energy and wiggles. He LOVES to be with his people, and would prefer a home that could keep him busy with both activity and obedience training. Calvin is a quick learner, as he already knows “sit”, “down”, and “paw”. He’s been friendly with the dogs in his foster home, and would love an active playmate! Calvin is housetrained, crate-trained, and is working on walking well on a leash. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Harry
Harry (formerly Headwound Harry) is finally ready for his forever home. After almost a year recovering from a serious head wound he's gotten the all clear medically. He made his way to BTR via an amazing family who found him outside injured. He had a bitewound on his face that had abscessed, and an old injury to his leg that causes him to limp. After several 2nd opinions with surgeons it's been decided that surgery will only make it more difficult for him to walk. He can get around just fine but does have a bit of a limp.
Harry would do best in an adult home or a home with older kids that are cat savvy and have another cat to play with. He's a great cat that just needs a patient owner to allow him to adjust. Some of his favorite toys are the red laser light and the feather toy Da bird.

Ronnie
Hi, I'm Ronnie and I was wandering the streets all alone in the world. Now I'm in a home with my foster mom and I really like her because I follow her everywhere and I come when she calls me. I'm a lttle guy weighing ten lbs and I'm pretty young with puppy energy. I love to go for walks and get really excited when I see the leash! I'm good with the other dogs in the house. And I'm learning that crates are nice and cozy to sleep in at night.

Freddie
Freddie is a 10 year old cuddly hunk! He may be shy at first, but warmed up quickly to his foster family. He loves to sleep really close to his people and loves to follow you where ever you go! Freddie's ideal forever home would include at least one comfy lap snuggle up in and would provide him with frequent petting sessions.
Freddie has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV+), which is a cat-only disease that decreases the ability of the immune system to fight some infections. FIV+ is not easily passed between cats. It cannot be transmitted casually through shared litter boxes, water and food bowls, or when snuggling or playing. FIV is most commonly transmitted via deep bites during cat fights, the virus is present in the saliva of infected cats. With appropriate care and treatment of chronic conditions, most FIV+ cats live long, healthy and relatively symptom free lives.

Jackson
Jackson is a sweet tabby boy that wants nothing more than to cuddle in a warm lap and get a few chin scratches. He is a playful 11 year old that loves his toys. Jackson has lived peacefully with two dogs, but does not like to share his space with other cats. His family had to surrender him due to a family member's allergies.
