I'm a 3 year old, 19 pound face-licking, couch-cuddling dog you'll ever meet. I love walks and car rides, treats, lying in the sun, body massages, back scratches, and did I mention cuddling with my human? My foster mum calls me silly as I like to amuse myself with my toys but I also like to play fetch and tug with her too. I'm good with dog savvy cats and will sometimes try to play with them. I'm great in the crate and I'm housebroken as long as I'm kept on a strict schedule.

Do you like big mutts? If so, I am your man! Weighing in at 85 lbs. I am the biggest lap dog you could ever hope to meet. Yep, you read that right. I just love to sit in my foster dad's lap. It was love at first sight for me. A good judge of character, I know what I want when it comes to family. A quiet home with experienced "big dog" people and no young uns would be perfect. Because I was not treated kindly in the past, I need time to feel safe and to establish trust before a lot of demands are placed upon me.

At 2 1/2 years old, I am in doggie adolescence. Like all adolescents I need patience and training to mature into the awesome dog I am destined to be. There are a lot of theories as to my ancestry. Am I a Redbone Coonhound, a Labrador Retriever, a Vizsla or a Rhodesian Ridgeback? Whatever the mixture of breeds, the result is a devastatingly handsome guy.

My name is Toby. I look like a mini lab retriever so if you love labs but don't want a large dog, I could be your guy. I have a sweet, gentle disposition and love to be outside, but snuggled up on the couch is good too. I am quiet in the house, good in a crate and get along with men, women, kids and other dogs.
