Annabelle is a shy but sweet 6 month old kitten that was found in Halifax.

Gracie is a gentle all gray girl that was surrendered after her owner got sick.

Nina

Nina is a curious and friendly young lady with a cute little white chest mark on her otherwise solid black coat. She's friendly and very affectionate- she just loves getting pet! Nina has a mild heart murmur that we are working on finding out more about, but heart murmurs are pretty common in cats and she can still live a long and healthy life!

Puma

Puma is a very striking black cat with amber undertones and one of the most playful 10 year olds you'll ever meet. He does not act his age at all - you may come home to find him exploring a cabinet and he likes to bat at unsuspecting feet as they go by. He came to Broken Tail Rescue covered in fleas and scabs from itching but he's recovered to reach his full handsome potential. He loves to be brushed and has about 15 favorite toys, though his favorites are the cat dancer and small mice. He's got a loud purr that hardly ever stops!

CeCe

CC is a beautiful white and orange female with big eyes. Once she gets to know you, she loves to sit on your lap and to be the center of attention. She gets into and up on everything, is very curious, and loves to play. She loves and needs to be brushed as she has lots of thick undercoat.

Maud & Maeve

Meet Maud and Maeve, a bonded pair of six year old Morkie's.. These two lovely ladies have been together since birth. They are devoted to each other and can not be separated. They are eight and nine pounds. Maud is the larger one and very much in charge. Maeve is a bit shy. They are sociable and crave attention. Anyone considering this duo must be in search of a cudler / lap dog.

Missy

Lil Missy is one of the sweetest dogs we have met! While we have no idea what breed she is, we do know that she is a perfect companion animal for a lucky adopter! Missy is diabetic, which meas that she has to have two shots of insulin each day, timed as close to 12 hours apart as possible.

Southie

Hello I'm Southie! I just turned 2 years old and I'm looking for my forever home. I'm 16lbs and I can be pretty rambunctious and playful, but I also enjoy just snuggling down with you on the couch or finding a quiet spot in the sun to relax. (I really love my foster parents' patio.) I love taking walks outside and I've enjoyed the other dogs I've met so far.

"Sweet Annie... will you stay with me a while..."

Sweet Annie is as sweet as her name. She is a gentle older lady that is good with dogs, cats and people. She came to Broken Tail Rescue when her owner passed away, and we are looking for one last quiet retirement home for her. Sweet Annie is 14 years old and about 10 pounds.
