Earl is a love bug and we do mean bug! He loves to be around people and will let you know if he is not receiving the attention he demands! He will meow and meow his little heart out until you scratch his chin or give him a treat. He knows his name and will talk with you if you call him. He isnt big on being picked up, but rub his belly and scratch his chin and he'll love you forever.

Grayson is a sweet 4 year old cat. Grayson is very shy and needs a home with another cat or 2 to help adjust.

Say hello to Big Tig! He is a very handsome boy with a sad past. He came to Broken Tail Rescue as a stray from Dorchester. He was living outside is a rough area where no one was caring for the cats in the neighborhood.

I’m Benny! I'm a young (approximately 2) tibetan spaniel/ dachshund mix. I weigh 20 lbs. I'm neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. I can be a little bit timid when I first meet you, but once I warm up, I’ll be your best friend! I’m a happy little guy that loves to prance around the house and wag my feathery tail all about.

Murphy

Meet handsome Murphy! Murphy is a five-year-old, fifty (50) pound Mastiff pittie mix who is as adorable as he is photogenic!

Murphy is a charmer who made fast friends with the entire staff at the vet's office, and loves all people. Murphy's tail is always wagging! As such he would do best in a home with children five and older who won't be knocked down by the enthusiastic love for life his swishing tail shows. Though Murphy enjoys the company of other dogs, he can be initially shy, and need some time to warm up to them.

My name is Princess Daisy. I am estimated to be three years old and weigh about 80 pounds. The best word to describe me is playful!

I'm new to Broken Tail and looking forward to finding my furever home soon! My foster mom and I are just starting to get acquainted, but I seem to be completely housebroken and up to date with all my healthcare. I'm very friendly with people and absolutely LOVE playing and tumbling with my pittie foster brother! My foster mom has said that I even tired my foster brother out---a first! My ideal home is one where I'll be active all the time.

Gertie is a 14 year old 6lb Chi who is looking for a retirement home to call her own. She is just about the sweetest dog you will ever meet and her favorite activity is snuggling on a warm lap underneath the blankets. She does not see or hear very well but she does not let that slow her down! She loves to wander all around the house and when she is done with her exercise routine she will come over to be picked up so she can take a nap on your nice warm lap.
