Snowball

Meet Snowball, a stunningly gorgeous 1 to 2 year old girl. Snowball has a luxurious white coat of medium to long hair and a super puffy tail. This beautiful girl has a rough past- she was surrendered by a family that could no longer care for her. We suspect that shel may have been treated poorly- she can sometimes be very sensitive about how she's pet and she gets afraid of things like the broom getting too close to her sometimes.

Smittey

Smittey is a sweetheart, friendly 6 year old. He loves pets, snuggles and attention- when he gets really excited he might show you his vampire teeth! He responds to his name with happy meows. He has previously lived with other cats.

Patches is a sweet, pretty four year old girl who is a little shy at first but warms up in a comfortable space. She has lived with other cats in the past.

Scarlett

I'm Scarlett. I'm a gorgeous older female so I can be a bit sassy at times, as divas are. I used to meow a lot but then they found out I was hyperthyroid and I started taking a pill--in a treat no less!--and I feel a lot better. I just want you to pet me a few times and sit calmly near me, and I will purr and fall asleep, on my own but just close enough to you. A home all to myself would be nice, but if you have a well-behaved cat I will be able to share.

Earl

Earl is the sweetest cat around and is estimated to be about 7 years old. He enjoys gazing out the window and sleeping at the foot of your bed. He loves nothing more than to get head and chin scratches and if you scratch his upper shoulders you’ll get to hear his nice low rumble of a purr that doesn't stop! Once you get Earl purring from pets and scratches he will usually beg for more! He is a great companion for someone who likes a cat who is always lounging near by, but not always on your lap. He is affectionate and when he wants your attention he will come to you, but also he takes much content in just being in the room with you. He also enjoys being brushed and the Furminator is his favorite.

Brysco

My name is Brysco and I love everyone. I’m about two years old so I have lots of energy to do all sorts of fun things with you. My foster mom has been making me use that energy to learn new things and she says I am very smart. I have already learned sit, stay and wait. I really want to make her happy plus it didn’t take me long to figure out that I get yummy treats for doing my new tricks.

Daisy

Daisy is a 9 year old Miniature Schnauzer with the sweetest disposition. She came into rescue because her owner was unable to continue to care for her after Daisy began to show symptoms of a health condition. Broken Tail Rescue's mission is to help animals in need. Our intake criteria is based on the availability of a foster home. Daisy has been evaluated by our veterinarian's to determine the source of her symptoms. If you can open your heart to this special girl, please complete an application. Once the test results are in, Daisy's treatment plan and progress will be posted.

Happy Presidents' Day! I am Jackson, a 4 year old American Staffordshire Terrier. I have been DNA tested and am 100% pure. I have a handsome brindle coat and am described as a very loving boy. As big and strong as I am, I have to admit that children scare me. They are fast, noisy and unpredictable and I just don't know what that is all about. Adult company is what I crave. I am a man's man but I love the ladies too. My foster folks are still getting to know me so are not yet sure how I would be with other dogs or cats.They think an adult home with a fenced yard would be perfect for me.
