Allie

Allie is a beautiful little all black, adult, short-haired girl.

Allie is shy at the moment, but full of interest in everything. She's beginning to warm up and if you go slow (and offer her food) she might give you some headbutts and accept a pat.

In the words of one of our volunteers: When she gets a chance to decompress, watch out - we have the makings of a great little cat here!

Callie Ducain

Callie ( or Miss Ducain) is a sweet gal. Her owner had to have life saving surgery and due to the after care conditions of surgery he was not able to care for her. Miss Ducain loves other cats, but can be very shy with people until she is comfortable with you.

The perfect home for her would be one with a feline friend or two, older kids, and a quiet home. At the moment she is very camera shy , but we'll have some better glamour shots soon.

Tabitha

Tabitha is an adult, short-haired, mostly black girl (with a tiny bit of white on her chest).

She loves to cuddle, and is very easy going.

She is missing some hair on her nose, back, and tail but it is growing back slowly, but our vets aren't concerned about her overall health.

Misty

Misty is a beautiful calico girl. She is very affectionate and craves human attention - she so wants to be part of a family! She walks around the house making chirpy noises! She loves the sun, sitting in paper bags, looking out the window and chasing her own tail (goofy girl).

Misty has tested positive for feline leukemia. She is currently in good health. Cats that are FeLV+ can live happy lives for several years before their health deteriorates. It is very contagious to other cats (not to dogs or humans). She should be only cat or live with other FeLV cats.

Angus

My name is Angus. I am an 11 month old American Pit Bull Terrier looking for my forever home. I am on the shorter side and only weigh 42 lbs. I have loved all the people, children, dogs, cats, and butterflies I have ever met. I am a little bit of a goofball and love to roll around in the grass.

Oh and did I mention, I love to play! I am learning to love my crate, I sleep in it every night. When I was rescued I had testing and we found out I had a congenital heart defect. You would never know though, because I run, play, cuddle, and kiss like other puppies my age. I had surgery on July 1st to correct the heart defect and now I am feeling much better!

Nemo

Hi, my name is Nemo! I am a very handsome little Chihuahua about 3 years old. I am learning to trust, and after a few weeks in my foster home I have made myself very comfortable. Although it took me that long to warm up to my foster mom, we are best friends now! I haven't had many people who love me as much as I love them, so it took some getting used to.

Erika

My name is Erika and I am a one year old, 6 pound chihuahua. I was found in the park and was just terrified. The shelter people were so kind to me but they could see how scared I was so they quickly got the rescue to come and put me in a foster home so I could calm down and stop shaking. It worked! I love my foster Mom and foster siblings (2 small dogs). I am still new to them but so far I have had no accidents in the house and am very cuddly and sweet, and just wouldn't know how to hurt a fly if I had to.

Coach

My name is Coach but truth be told I could use a coach, I am a 9 month old, astoundingly handsome, 60 lb lab mix puppy. To be totally up front with you, I am not your typical lab. If you are expecting a quiet, laid-back kind of guy, you are barking up the wrong tree. I love life and am described by my foster mom as "exuberant." I am just a big kid and like most kids I need a mom and dad who can help me keep myself in check and set limits. Because I am big and oh so playful, I would do best with older human siblings (12 or older). I could accidentally knock smaller children down. I would never want to hurt anyone but sometimes I just forget how big I am.

Bolillio

I know I have a silly name, but I'm a silly little guy! I'm a 3-year-old, seven-pound bundle of Chihuahua cute. My coat is so sleek and silky my foster Mom says I look like a little seal!

I'm good as gold, too. I am housebroken (though I might need a reminder in a new home) and crate trained. I love to play with other dogs and you should see how excited I am with a squeaky toy! Walks are lots of fun and even though I'm tiny, I have no trouble keeping up. I'm pretty quiet in the house, so I'd do just fine in an apartment or smaller home.
