Charley is an affectionate Calico cat who loves to be around adults and children. She really likes to cuddle and be petted but not by surprise and not along her back. She LOVES to have her head, ears, and chin scratched endlessly!

Eve is a sweet and timid two-year-old girl. She loves mouse toys, napping next to her human and playing with her kitty foster sister. She takes some time to warm up to new people, but once she knows you, she will head butt you for pets and purr loudly in your ears.

Ferdinand
Ferdinand is a big kitty who's really shy at first but is just learning to play and have fun. Once he becomes comfortable with a person, he loves getting cheek scratches and pets and he loves being currycombed with a rubber brush. Something happened to his tail - he only has one-half of it! Ferdinand has had conjunctivitis which can return with stress, and his eyes may need to be looked at from time to time.

MIko
Miko is shy with new people, but once he gets to know you, this big boy just wants to show you his belly, get pets, and play!
Miko he has some characteristics of the breed British Shorthair because he has a big upper body and is chunky—British Shorthairs were traditionally the mouse-catcher workers of Great Britian. Miko has always loved to play, especially with a feather wand, and can jump 4 to 5 feet in the air, no kidding! Once he gets to know you (giving treats helps) he will actually meow for attention.

Olivia is a 5 year old who was found running around on snowbanks in Everett. She is shy at first but over time will love to cuddle. She will rub herself against you nonstop to express how much she appreciates your company. She also loves to roll around and to sleep next her human.

Meet Willow, a dog friendly, cat friendly, child friendly, 13 year old female Chihuahua.
Willow was taken into animal control after someone found her outside on their lawn after a storm. Willow's people did not come forward to claim her.

Hank
Hank is a new arrival we are still getting to know him but so far he is a big playful goofball that just loves everyone. He loves dogs, kids and loves cats maybe even a bit too much he would need a dog savvy cat for sure. Hank is a medium energy guy who is fabulous in the house and about 90% housebroken he just needs to get on a good schedule and he should be fine. Hank loves attention and really loves his people he needs someone who is home most of the time. He knows sit and paw and he learned lay down in a matter of an hour he loves his treats and he learns quickly.

Lucky Duck
Lucky Duck is one lucky guy! He was saved from being euthanized due to the owner's inability to manage his skin allergies. We've given him a good medicated bath, shaved the matted fur off him, started him on Apoquil for relief, and have transitioned him to a grain-free diet, and we are hopeful that these measures will curb his allergies!

Daisy is a 9 year old Miniature Schnauzer with the sweetest disposition. She came into rescue because her owner was unable to continue to care for her after Daisy began to show symptoms of a health condition. Broken Tail Rescue's mission is to help animals in need. Our intake criteria is based on the availability of a foster home. Daisy has been evaluated by our veterinarian's to determine the source of her symptoms. If you can open your heart to this special girl, please complete an application. Once the test results are in, Daisy's treatment plan and progress will be posted.
