Kynsey

Kynsey is a handsome young white cat with blue eyes. His name means royal victory!

Kynsey was living as a stray and while he's still adjusting to his new surroundings, he's doing well and enjoys catnip, soft words and eating treats from your hand. Kynsey also enjoys being petted and scratched, especially around his neck and ears.

Puddy

My name's Puddy. That's Puddy like Puddy-Tat or Puddy like clay, you choose. I answer to both!

I'm in the Adoption Center because my owner passed away. It's a sad time for me, but that doesn't keep me from engaging with all the humans around me. I just love people! I also love being petted and as you can see, I like to lean my whole body into neck scritches. While I'm not doing it currently, I think I might like to cuddle, too. Oh, and I'm 8 years young

Tony

Tony is a 2 year old male cat. He is a foodie at heart and loves nothing more than for his humans to pet him! He has a soft meow and a strong body he uses to make sure his humans comply with his demands. His foster mom says make sure you hang on to your TV trays because Tony has been known to knock them over with his world-class head-butt if he isn't getting the attention he deserves.

Cookie

Cookie is a sweet and sassy 8 year old tortie girl with a beautiful soft brindled coat.

Cookie enjoys sitting on high perches so she can survey her kingdom between naps. She also loves catnip and being scratched around the neck with a back scratcher.

This beautiful tortie was initially shy and a little grumpy in the Adoption Center, but she's opening up and now enjoys exploring and receiving treats.

Earl

Earl is the sweetest cat around and is estimated to be about 7 years old. He enjoys gazing out the window and sleeping at the foot of your bed. He loves nothing more than to get head and chin scratches and if you scratch his upper shoulders you’ll get to hear his nice low rumble of a purr that doesn't stop! Once you get Earl purring from pets and scratches he will usually beg for more! He is a great companion for someone who likes a cat who is always lounging near by, but not always on your lap. He is affectionate and when he wants your attention he will come to you, but also he takes much content in just being in the room with you. He also enjoys being brushed and the Furminator is his favorite.

Doc

Meet Doc, a Great Dane / Weimaraner mix. He’s five years old and weighs 70 pounds. Doc has has had formal training and has mastered a number of commands. His house manners are impeccable. When given the command “place”, Doc immediately goes to his bed and lies down quietly.

Jonah

My name is Jonah. I am a medium sized guy who needs some good meals to add a little more bulk to my undernourished frame. I am wicked handsome and love people. When I ride in the car I like to rest my head on your shoulder. If you will let me ride shotgun, I will be only too happy to oblige. I am estimated to be about one year old and I have loads of puppy energy. I would love an active family. Hiking or jogging would be right up my alley. I enjoy a good game of tug and love chew toys. I know some basic commands (Sit, paw, come) but will need more training to learn not to jump up on people and walk nicely on a leash. Because I am exuberant, I would not be a good fit for a home with young kids. I would never intentionally hurt anyone but I am strong and don't know my own strength.

Sally Brown

My name is Sally Brown and I just know life can be grand! Like my namesake (Charlie Brown's sister!) I'm cute, lovable, and a quick learner, especially if there is cheese.

I am a trim 50 pounds and ready to be your new pocket pup. I have adorable forehead wrinkles that make me look like I am thinking very hard (about cheese) all the time. I love sunbathing and going for long, muddy strolls during warm weather -- the cold makes me sneeze! I would really rather not get wet in rainy downpours; snoozing under some blankets, or playing tug with my stuffed squeaky toys in the house seems much more fun. Though I'm newly five years old I'm relearning basic manners -- "sit" is great when there's a treat involved (remember -- cheese!), but I'm not sure I understand why I have to sit if there's no food to be had, where's the fun in that?

Teddy

Teddy is a 3-4 year old male Pomeranian mix. He weighs about 13 lbs. He came to rescue from a local animal control and is doing great in foster care! Teddy loves his foster mom and begs her for pets. It's never enough! When he was taken in by animal control he was really matted on his back end which caused some inflammation. Due to this (we believe) he has some sensitivity around his back end, though he has an anti-inflammatory injection on board which is helping. We are hoping that time, a healthy diet and some love in his foster home will help him to make progress. He is timid around other dogs, and due to his sensitivity we are going to require an adult only home. Teddy feels safe in his crate. He is a quiet dog and makes quite the easy keeper.

Ulysses

My name is ‘Ulysses’, but everyone calls me ‘Uly’ for short. (Well, actually, everyone usually calls me ‘Aw, you’re such a cutie pie!’ but that’s a bit of a mouthful, I think.) As a young and trendy 2 year old, I enjoy the important things in life: good walkies, good chewies, and good curled-up-on-the-couch selfies. In fact, a good snuggle is probably my favorite thing - and I may weigh 50 pounds, but I can certainly squeeze onto a lap like any dog half my size.
