Chester is a large, 5-year-old, white and black male cat. He has an adorably large head and wants nothing more than daily chin scratches and a good meal.

Flip is a long haired all black 7-year-old male cat. His left ear is bent and makes possibly makes Flip the cutest cat in town! He is a gentle cat that loves head rubs. While he is waiting for his food to be served he chirps in excitement!

Mary Kate is a 9 year old, short haired, female tuxedo cat.

Mouse is a large, 5 year old, grey and white male cat.

Puma

Puma is a very striking all black cat and possibly the fittest 9 year old neutered male you'll ever meet. He came to Broken Tail Rescue covered in fleas and scabs from itching. He's now flea-free and waiting for his hair to grow back so he can reach his full handsome potential. He enjoys catnip and treats. He's slow to warm up to people but would love a family to call his own. When he's ready for your attention, you'll hear his purr before you see him.

Harry the Handsome is a special guy. While here with us at Broken Tail Rescue, we are reminding him all the time that special is the same as great, and we think he hears us.

Ellie

My name is Ellie and I am a 1 1/2 year old, 34 pound hound mix. I had some trouble with my knees but Broken Tail Rescue was nice enough to pay for surgery so that my knees no longer wobble or cause me pain. I am an active gal who would probably enjoy jogging or hiking once I have recovered from my surgery. I am doing really well.

Benny is a 7 year old pug/beagle mix that comes in at a low-riding 22lbs. He is a ball of fun and energy when you want him to be, but most of the time, he is content to lay at your feet and snore away the day or night.

Chiqui

Hello! I'm Chiqui ("cheeky") and I'm looking for my forever home. I'm 18 lbs of pure adorable. Inside I like sitting quietly with my toys and I'm even learning to play fetch. I really love being outside on walks and exploring the world. I always make sure I have a toy with me, and I'm not a big puller or barker. I'm house trained and crate trained.

Shakira

Shakira is a 3 year old chihuahua who loves walks, playing tug and sleeping under the blankets. She is spayed, up to date on shots and weighs in at about 11 pounds. Shakira is very affectionate with her people and loves playing with squeaky toys and using them as a pillow. She is housebroken, pee pad trained and very quiet in a crate or her own room. She will bark at other dogs if they come near her squeaky toys. Shakira was very nervous and showed some barrier aggression the first two days in her foster home but then warmed right up to snuggle with the family including teenagers.
