Kiki

Kiki is a 6 year old chihuahua who is about 11lbs. She can be very shy at first, but soon become a cuddle bug. Once you're on the couch with her she won't leave your side. She likes to play with other dogs, but it will take some time for her to develop trust. She might not be another dogs best friend right away, but once she feels things out she just wants to play! Kiki has an incredibly soft coat and is perfect for snuggling. She is very well behaved in her crate as well.

Lola

Welcome to the dog days of summer! A perfect time to add a dog to your family. My name is Lola. I am a 1 year old, 45 lb, yellow lab mix who hails from Texas. Like most dogs my age, I am still learning all I need to know to become a well-mannered pupper.. I am looking for someone to show me the ropes using patience and positive training methods. No shock collars please!! I was the victim of one of those and it scared me and made it hard for me to trust people.

Rocky

Rocky is an 11 year old, blind 5lb chihuahua. He is super independent and loves to explore the outdoors. He does need help with stairs and will take some time to learn new surroundings, but gets around great for a blind old man. He's great in his crate and doesn't make much noise once he is in there.

Sadie

My name is Sadie and I am about 5 years old. I’m a pittie mix (I think!) and really want to be your new best friend. I’m up to date on all my vaccinations, including heart worm and flea/tick and I’m already spayed.

I do OK with dog saavy cats and I’m ok with other dogs that live in my foster home. I love to play and I have so much energy and really want to be on the trails, out running, or going on adventures! The couch might be my new favorite place when I'm in the house though! I would benefit from a quiet home with an experienced owner.

Dot

Hi, I'm Dot and I'm a sweet, house trained Springier Spaniel mix weighing about 45 lbs (but I could stand to gain a little bit of weight according to the vet.) I'm about 10 to 11 years old. I also have impeccable manners on a leash and around guests.

I'm looking for someone who would be willing to give a retired working girl like me a home. My needs are a few all I need is a couch to nap on, someone to pat my belly, and feed to me snacks.

Audrey

Audrey wants to be your fair lady! She is a gorgeous grey 2 year old gal who thrives on lots of human attention and activity. When she tires out, she loves to lay upside down and show off her fluffy belly! Audrey is a little grumpy in our adoption center because she hates sharing anything, be that her space or your attention! In a home where she's the only cat she will show off her truly affectionate, silly, and sweet self.

Buttercup

Buttercup is a beautiful three year old tabby who has had a rough time. She was found on the streets with a litter of kittens after her family moved away. Her kittens have all been adopted, but poor Buttercup has a congenital eye condition (eyelid agenesis) that requires surgery. Thanks to the wonderful generosity of Broken Tail Rescue donors, her surgery has been scheduled and she will be available for adoption in early August.

Batman

Batman (aka Baby Bat) is a handsome three year old boy who likes to use his superpowers (and bedding) to disguise himself as a burrito. He is a friendly and affectionate guy who loves to purr! He enjoys playing with other cats and would probably do best in a home with young cats who can match his energy. Batman was a cuddler with his former mom, but was afraid of her husband, so he may be a ladies' man.

Kotka

Kotka is being fostered privately and is not a Broken Tail Rescue cat. If you're interested in learning more about Kotka, please fill out an application on our website and your information will be forwarded to Kotka's private foster.

Kotka is a very sweet cat who needs a new home. She is a mild-mannered, white-and-black female, spayed, micro-chipped, declawed by original owner, and between 8-10 years old.

Cabernet

What a change a loving environment makes! Since moving into a foster home, two year old Cabernet (also known as Grayson) has blossomed into a confident, loving cat. Initially quite shy, he now engages in sessions of intense purring and petting with his foster mom.

Cabernet has also rediscovered the joy of play and can get quite caught up in stalking a good feather toy. He also enjoys soccer, chasing and knocking the ball around, sometimes into the wee hours after the rest of the house has settled down to sleep.
