Caroline is a sweet, shy, 2-year-old tabby. Once she gets to know you, she is a total cuddle bug. She and her foster mom often enjoy hour-long petting sessions. She purrs up a storm!

Muffin

Muffin is a bold 10 year old girl with a lot of love to give. She's looking for a home to call her own where she can rule from a high spot near a window. Don't let her sassy face fool you (she's just missing a few teeth) - she loves attention and wants to be part of what you're doing. If you forget to keep petting her, she'll remind you with a wave or a gentle tap from her paw. She's quick with a purr and loves catnip, laser pointers, and being brushed. In fact, just hold the brush still and she'll brush herself.

Madison & Mallory

Madison and Mallory are a plump pair of marmalade sisters that are as sweet as pie. To tell them apart, Madison has the tiniest white spot on her chest and Mallory has bright green eyes.

Finley

Finley is a 3 year old black and white male cat. He is a bit nervous when he first meets new people or moves to a new home, but once he feels comfortable he transforms into a gentle and sweet guy. Finley is currently living with 3 roommates and loves everyone. He enjoys cuddling up on beds and getting love, but when his foster parents aren't home, he can easily entertain himself. Finley is looking forward to settling into his forever home and having a family to call his own.

Eve is a sweet two year old girl who purrs her whiskers off when she's getting pets. She takes some time to warm up to new people but once she knows you she is attached.

Sophie

Meet Sophie, a 13-year- old Jack Russell Terrier. This sweet, spunky girl is looking for a place to live out her retirement years. She enjoys walks, sniffing other dogs, rolling around on the grass, and treats. She is anxious with new people and situations and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day. Once she warms up to you her tail will wag in happiness when she sees you and you might even get kisses. Sophie is being fostered in Worcester, Ma and her adoption fee is $100.

My name is Skittles. I am cute as a button!! I am a 4 year old terrier mix and weigh only 16 pounds. Things I love are car rides, going for walks, meeting other dogs and snuggling. I have an average energy level but can be a little excitable at times. I do a happy dance on my hind legs followed by a burst of barking and running around when I see my favorite people.

Happy Jack

Happy Jack came to Broken Tail Rescue after spending his entire life with his family that couldn't keep him any longer. Happy Jack settled into his foster home very quickly and is great with the dog and cat in the foster home! Within minutes of arriving, he crawled onto his foster mom's lap as she sat on the floor nearby to him.

I'm a handsome 3-year-old, 24 pound boy, and I would love to show you my fresh white socks. Give me a minute to decide you're OK and then we can be best friends! I love walks, relaxing in the house with you, other dogs, and cheese. I ignore cats. I'm house-trained and know how to use pee pads in an emergency. I am quiet in the house, but have plenty of energy for romping and walks. Because it takes me a few minutes to warm up to new people, I'll do best in a home with not too many visitors. Children should be older and dog-savvy.

Meet Maud and Maeve, a bonded pair of six-year-old Morkie's.. These two lovely ladies have been together since birth. They are devoted to each other and can not be separated. They are eight and nine pounds. Maud is the larger one and very much in charge. Maeve is a bit shy. They are sociable and crave attention. Anyone considering this duo must be in search of a cudler / lap dog.
