Ruby

My name is Ruby, and I'm a 7-year-young black and white chihuahua with beautiful gold coloring around my eyes. Unfortunately, my previous owner became ill and couldn't care for me anymore. It was very sad for both of us, but now I'm looking for a new forever family who will give me lots of kisses and hugs.

My foster mom loves taking care of me because she says I'm a sweet, gentle soul who loves affection. I'm a little shy at first but then will soak up all your love! Cuddling is one of my favorite things, and I don't discriminate -- laps, chest, neck, etc., are all great cuddle spots.

Rumor

Say Hello to Rumor! A one year old male Carin Terrier / Chihuahua mix. Rumor loves belly rubs, playing with toys and an outside game of fetch.

Rumor is house trained and walks well on a leash, however, he can distracted by strangers and other dogs outside. When Rumor is inside, he is more reserved.

My name is Simba, and I’m looking for a quiet household to call home! I came from living with the same nice man my entire life, but when he became hospitalized for a long-term illness, he sadly had to ask Broken Tail Rescue to find me a new family.

Doc

Meet Doc, a Great Dane / Weimaraner mix. He’s five years old and weighs 70 pounds. Doc has had formal training and has mastered a number of commands. His house manners are impeccable. When given the command “place”, Doc immediately goes to his bed and lies down quietly.

Doc enjoys outdoor activities including hiking off leash, retrieving and swimming. When inside, Doc enjoys belly rubs and snuggling with his toys. Doc’s ideal adopter is an active person, couple or family with children over the age of 10. Although Doc is a gentle giant, small children and fast movements make Doc uneasy.

I’m so happy to meet you! My name is Mason and I am a happy, energetic 6 year old, 68 lb. neutered, goofy and loving male Redbone Coonhound mix. I am content to spend most of my days snoozing on my cot or lounging out in the sun, but I also love nightly back rubs and attention from my humans.

Tony

Tony is a 2 year old male cat. He is a foodie at heart and loves nothing more than for his humans to pet him! He has a soft meow and a strong body he uses to make sure his humans comply with his demands. His foster mom says make sure you hang on to your TV trays because Tony has been known to knock them over with his world-class head-butt if he isn't getting the attention he deserves.

Scottie

Scottie is a black and white male who was surrendered with his sister, Sophie, and is very protective of her! Both are gentle cats who were initially shy in the Adoption Center. Now that they've moved to a homier environment with a foster mom, they are blossoming into happy, loving kitties. Scottie has turned into a lovebug and Sophie now rolls over for belly rubs!

Allie

Allie is kind of a diva in the best way possible. She is very curious- she likes to follow you around the house and prefers affection in small doses. She is on the smaller side with a beautiful, soft calico coat that barely sheds.

Allie may be twelve but she looks and acts like a five year old! She is always bouncing around, exploring boxes, hiding under blankets and making herself little nests on the couch.

Sophie

Sophie is a black and white female who was surrendered with her brother, Scottie (also black and white).

Sophie and Scottie are gentle cats who were initially shy in the Adoption Center. Now that they've moved to a homier environment with a foster mom and a couple of resident cat siblings to show them the ropes, they are blossoming into happy, loving kitties who like to chase and play. Sophie also likes to roll over for belly rubs and Scottie is a lovebug.
