Earl
Earl is the sweetest cat around and is estimated to be about 7 years old. He enjoys gazing out the window and sleeping at the foot of your bed. He loves nothing more than to get head and chin scratches and if you scratch his upper shoulders you’ll get to hear his nice low rumble of a purr that doesn't stop! Once you get Earl purring from pets and scratches he will usually beg for more! He is a great companion for someone who likes a cat who is always lounging near by, but not always on your lap. He is affectionate and when he wants your attention he will come to you, but also he takes much content in just being in the room with you. He also enjoys being brushed and the Furminator is his favorite.

Cordelia
Cordelia is a beautiful 8-month-old female cat who was found as a stray in Chelsea, MA. She's a bit nervous in her new environment, but if you go slowly (bonus if you start by petting her head with a feather toy), she'll start purring and head butting you after just a few seconds!

Ferdinand
Ferdinand is a big sweet 5-year-old love-hunk. He has a huge head with sweet green eyes and a cow-cat style black-and-white coat. He is shy at first but responds gratefully to a slow approach and gentle head scritches. Ferdinand is a mellow creature who would love to snuggle up with you. He should do well with other cats after a proper introduction. He would probably be fine with a respectful dog and with older children who can respect his initial shyness. He uses his litter box every time and is well behaved around the house.

He is still settling in with us so he is a bit nervous, but we anticipate he will be a sweet and cuddly guy once he feels more comfortable in his new environment.

Ellie
My name is Ellie and I am a 1 1/2 year old, 34 pound hound mix. I had some trouble with my knees but Broken Tail Rescue was nice enough to pay for surgery so that my knees no longer wobble or cause me pain. I am an active gal who would probably enjoy jogging or hiking once I get the green light from my vet. I am doing really well. I can go for walks now but jumping and running are still no-nos. Going for walks is so much fun and I am great on a leash, if I do say so myself. I love people and attention. A dog buddy would be fine too. Haven't met any cats or kids yet.
