Butterbean

I'm Butterbean an adorable young, neutered male chihuahua with a contagious smile. I am 2 years old and a pipsqueak. I am guesstimated to weigh under 10 lbs.

I'm house-trained but will also use pee pads if necessary.. I love the ladies but am not so fond of men or small children. I would love a home with a single lady who wants to hang out with me during the day. I like other dogs so a dog buddy would be great.

Darby

Darby is a handsome, super sweet mixed breed with a great personality. He is 5 years old but you would never know as he doesn’t look a day over 3…at least that’s what he will tell you! Darby is a perfect size weighing in at around 40 pounds, ideal for sharing forts in the backyard for scheming summer shenanigans.

Slinky

I am going as the slinky dog from Toy Story! Want to be my Buzz or Woody? I am a handsome, 7 1/2 year young guy who weighs in at about 30 lbs. "Friendly " is the word those who know me use to describe me. I am looking for some new friends to share their home with me. Because I am a mature gentleman, I prefer to hang out with kids my own age or a bit older. I am not really comfortable with small children. I am new to this rescue so they are still learning about me. Check back often to get updates or better yet, come meet me.

Wally

Wally is a 9 pound little chihuahua with a lot of love to give. Wally is house trained and does well in his crate while his foster parents are away from home. Wally loves playing with the other 4 dogs in the house above all else. He absolutely loves other dogs and will play endlessly!

Simba

My name is Simba, and I’m a senior gentleman looking for a quiet place to call home! I lived with the same nice man my entire life, but when he became hospitalized for a long-term illness, he sadly had to ask Broken Tail Rescue to find me a new family.

I am 13 years old and I weigh about 15 pounds. Though I am getting up there in age, I still have a lot of pep in my step and I am excited to be alive. If you see me you'll think, "wow, that is a happy dog!" I am completely housebroken and am an easy dog to have around the house. I love to chill in my bed or at my foster parents feet, and I am not barky, except when I'm crated and I need to go potty. I also enjoy snuggling with my owners either on the couch or on the floor. I LOVE to sleep in bed with my people but please don't roll over or kick me or I might just have to bite you, sorry not sorry. I will forgive you though if you can forgive me.

Leo is a 7-8 year old sweetheart of a big guy. He was surrendered due to a no pets rule and he is looking for a new loving home to thrive in. He is a big love. He is a Japanese bobtail - has just a nub of a tail. He is in great shape and loves to be loved and give love.

Dooley

Dooley is a beautiful 9 year old ragdoll with soft, soft fur who is a little moody while she adjusts to her new quarters in the Adopter Center. She may hiss or hide, but never bites or scratches and will do best in a quiet home with a kind, patient adopter who will help her get comfortable in a new loving home. Dooley does not get along with other cats and needs a home as the only kitty.

Arthur is a gorgeous sweet tuxedo adult ~2 year old kitty. Arthur is FIV+.
Arthur LOVES his foster dad! He sleeps at his feet every night. He is by his side on the couch. He follows him all around. He LOVES his toys and bats them around for hours! He is a super sweet kitty! He is a shy, timid kitty with new people at first so patience is needed when meeting him. He loves other cats! He would do well as a companion kitty to another cat in the home! Arthur is looking for his forever home! An interesting note - he has two different colored eyes!
