Bella
Bella is a super sweet 4 yr old female Maine Coon mix. She was surrendered back to us when her adopter had to move and Bella could not go with her. Bella lived peacefully in that home with 2 dogs. All three played and slept together. We are sure that Bella would love to have a dog companion.
Clause
Clause is a sweet young boy that came off the street. He's spent some time in a foster home to help us learn his personality a little better. Here is a quick note from his foster mom:
Clause is a handsome young man (1 yr) with Bengal style markings. He is very energetic and playful and loves to chase his toy mouse or a ball around the house. He can be very affectionate, following his foster mom around the house and even stands up on his hind legs when he wants to be picked up.
He gets along fine with other cats, but has not had to opportunity to meet dogs.
Tessa
She was found as a stray in Dorchester, but this girl wasn't meant to live on the streets. She's sweet and gets along very well with her foster brother and sisters (cats and a dog). She needs a home whose patient and gives her time to come out of her shell.
Tessa is very playful and loves to chase the laser light! She will make a great companion to a lonely cat, and is easy going enough that she has blended well in the multitude of personalities in her current foster home.
Lola
Lola is approximately 2 years old and about 55lbs. She was rescued from a neglect situation by Animal Control, along with her five puppies and other dogs. Lola was found abandoned in a home and because of that came to us lacking some of the basic manners you'd expect a dog to have, but she has come a long way in a short time.
Bruiser
Bruiser is a 4 year old chi mix weighing approximately 10 pounds. He loves to hang out on your lap and will be your shadow when you get up. He loves to go on walks and has a healthy appetite! He is doing really well with his house training. He gets along great with other dogs. He loves to play and roll around. Just spend 5 minutes with him and you'll fall in love!
Since being brought home Bruiser has adjusted nicely. He is always looking to play with my dog then when he tires out it's up in my lap for a nap. his potty training is much improved with the schedule but every now and then he has an accident.
Jabba the Lap Warmer
Meet Jabba, a 3 year old, 14 pound Chihuahua mix that will warm your lap and steel your heart. Jabba has had a busy week traveling east to west and west to east on I90 between vet appointments and short term foster homes. He is quite the trooper and well adjusted. He loves people and other dog. He is low to medium energy and he loves to cuddle in your lap or just hide under the blankets. Jabba is crate trained and working on learning basic commands and house training. Jabba bonds quickly with his people and is anxious to please. Jabba is new to our rescue and is patiently waiting for your to take him home.
Karma
Meet Karma! She is a very sweet one year old pit bull. Unfortunately poor Karma has spent most her life moving from shelter to shelter. All this little girl wants is a home to call her own. She is doing great in her foster home and loves to take naps on the couch! She loves going for walks and does great on her leash. Karma still has some puppy in her and loves to run and play. She will need plenty of exercise. Karma will make a great family dog! She is going to need an active family and a family that will give her the training she needs. Karma is not a fan of having to share her home with another dog. Even though she prefers to be the only dog in the home, she has no problems making friends with other dogs. Her foster dad says she gets along great with dogs both small and large! We don't know how she is with cats so we can't say good or bad. If your looking for a fun loving dog who is eager to learn then Miss Karma is your dog!
