Guinness

Meet Guinness! Guinness is a 8.5 lb pup who is about 1 year old. He has the markings and the long legs of a Mini Pinscher and the shape of a Chihuahua. He prances around on those long legs like nobody's business! He is a sweet dog but will take some time to warm up to new people. He is nervous in new surroundings and startles easily and will run away. He is very sweet and will follow you around wherever you go. Guinness is good with other dogs but mostly keeps to himself. He will make a great companion for someone who can give him the time he needs to come out of his shell.

Emily

Emily is a gorgeous, eight-month-old girl. She is very nervous at the moment but is also very sweet. It takes her a while to warm up but once she does she is loving and purry.

She seems to enjoy having another friendly cat around so would prefer not to be the only one at her new home. She does not, however, like dogs and will need to be in a home without them.

Heidi

Meet Heidi! She is 7 months old and a huge sweetheart! Heidi loves everyone, especially kids! She loves going on walks and is great on the leash. There is still lots of puppy energy in her and she loves running around playing with people or her toys. Once she has run off her energy, Heidi looks for the closet lap to snuggle on and take a nap. Heidi gets along with dogs, cats and kids. She would make a great addition to any family!

Mushu

Mushu is a black and white boy about five years old who is a total sweetheart, but is a little scared and nervous at the moment. He loves to have his ears and head scratched! Hopefully he'll find that a loving home will help him come out of his shell a bit.

Tarzan

Hello, I'm Tarzan. I'm a handsome 3-year-old boy looking for my forever family! I was found as a stray and spent four long months in a Worcester shelter. Now in my foster home, I just take life one day at a time. So far, I've found that I love balls of all varieties: tennis, rubber, squeaky. If you can throw it, I'll play fetch for hours! I also love playing hide-and-seek and taking long walks with my human friends. With the help of a harness, I am learning not to pull when I go out...but sometimes it's hard because I just get so excited!

I am fully house and crate trained and am highly food/toy motivated. For a cookie, I will gladly show you how nicely I can sit as well as the other commands that I am still working on (like down, stay, heel, come, and wait). While I always enjoy playing with my people, I am a self-sufficient guy and can be content entertaining myself.

Buddy

Buddy lost his home along with the other cats in his house when his people moved and left them all behind. A neighborhood couple was feeding him on their deck for a few weeks until there was a foster home available. They named him, and bought him a nice fluffy bed to keep warm in that will go with him to his new home. He is a sweet guy who lives up to his name, and he has a funny sense of humor. His favorite thing to do is roll over and look up at you, waiting for a gentle belly rub. He uses his tall scratching post, and has good litter box manners.

Buddy has tested positive for FIV, but he needs no special care or medication. He can live a normal life as long as he is kept indoors. FIV is absolutely not transferable to humans or dogs, and is not easily transmitted to other cats. Buddy has tested negative for feline leukemia, is current on all his vaccinations, is neutered, micro-chipped, and receives a monthly flea preventative.

Hi, I'm Tiny! I am a 4-year-old Whippet and Chihuahua mix who weighs about 6 lbs. The shelter tells me that I need to put on a few more pounds, but I love treats so that shouldn't be a problem. I need a slow introduction to strangers, as I will bark and carry on for a while until I feel safe. After that, I will jump up into your lap and look for attention. When I am not playing chase, I love to be snuggled right up to my foster mom and nuzzle my face into hers. I am housebroken if kept on a schedule and i sleep all through the night in my crate with my cozy blanket without making a peep until morning.

Meet Tessa, a shy FIV+ girl whose under a year old. She was found as a stray in Dorchester, but this girl wasn't meant to live on the streets. She's sweet and gets along very well with her foster brother and sisters (cats and a dog). She needs a home whose patient and gives her time to come out of her shell. Tessa needs to go into a home with a friendly cat to help with her adjustment.
