Buster
Buster is a handsome 2-year-old male who is all dressed up and ready to go! He's got a tuxedo coat, white paws, and a "paint dip" tail - all black, but the tip is white, like he dipped in paint. This mellow guy loves to be pet and hang out. He is social, people-oriented, purrs like crazy, and would be a great pal for any family. He's a sweet, gentle giant through and through.

Lexie
Lexie is a petite, young domestic short hair and Himalayan mix. She's got striking, huge eyes! Lexie can be affectionate but she can also be quite feisty and have a short temper. She will need some help to relax and become comfortable in her new home but with patience and time we think she will be a great companion for the right owners. We think that Lexie would do best in a household with experienced cat owners and no small children.

JoeJoe
JoeJoe is a tiger striped kitty, approximately 4-5 months old, who was found with his three siblings out near Boston. JoeJoe came to the rescue a very fearful baby, but with work in his foster home, he has made great strides. JoeJoe will probably never like to be picked up, but he is very social with his foster family. He is always out with his people and "talks" to them--especially near dinner time. He is very food motivated and his foster mom, dad, and 5 year old sister are easily able to pat him while he is eating. JoeJoe is still young and we are very confident that he will one day progress to a "lap cat"--it will just take some time to reach that level of comfort and security in his forever home. His new family should be very patient with him and not expect that he will immediately show his kitten antics right away (he does love to play!). He will need a little longer of an adjustment period that most. He will also need to be adopted into a family that has another cat--friendly and sociable--who can show him the ropes.

Miss Abigail
I am a 45 lb bundle of love just looking for a home to call my own. I love to cuddle and just be with you. I have never met a human I didn't like! I also love those weird little tiny humans you guys call kids! I am told that kids love me too because I am so gentle and just love to give kisses and lick off the crumbs that kids seem to get all over themselves. My favorite thing to do is curl up at your feet and nap, but I will always get up to greet you when you come home. I am proud to say I have never ever peed or pooped in the house- I know that stuff belongs outside! My foster mommy almost never uses a crate for me because I am so calm and well-behaved, but I do know how to behave myself in one if I need to. My foster mommy is always raving to people about how well-mannered I am. "I've never seen anything like it!' she says. I also understand the human words "sit," "wait," and "give". I am 8 years young and very mellow. But I still love my walks! I don't require an athlete or anything, but I do love to spend time sniffing and exploring. I walk great on leash and I'm not reactive towards people or bikers. If you open a car door near me though I might just hop in! Car rides are my second favorite thing! If you need a copilot, I am your girl! I am all about humans, but not a big fan of your other furry friends. I prefer to be the only pet in your home. Please oh please oh please tell me there is a family out there for me! I have been such a good girl and I (and my foster mommy) just don't understand why someone hasn't taken me home for good yet. I can tell you for a fact that you will be lucky to have me in your life.

Saul
Hi Im Saul! I am a young, energetic Chihuahua mix. When I was found as a stray and brought to the shelter I was very scared and shy, it was a really big, loud place! I became braver as the days went on and now I am very outgoing! I am very friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs as well. I love spending time outdoors with my person and enjoying going for long walks.

Sandy
Sandy is the sweetest senior citizen. She's ten years old and weighs about 12 lbs. Sandy takes time to warm up to people but once she's used to you, she will shadow you everywhere. Sandy is improving day by day in her foster home. She needs an adopter that will take it slowly with her and allow her to set the pace. A quiet home would be perfect for her. Sandy walks well on a leash and is quiet as a mouse in her crate. Sandy has a food allergy which has caused her to lose hair on her back and sides. She is being fed a hypoallergenic diet which should resolve that issue.

Wiley
Hello there! I am Wiley! I am a 10-years young, 7 lb bundle petfinder love just looking for a lap to snuggle in. I love being with my people, and I love other dogs. I know that potty is for outside (you humans call it housetraining) and I love my crate. Give me a pile of blankets and you will soon find me nestled inside them. Despite my age and small stature, I am quite spry and I love going for walks. Don't worry though, I don't need a marathon training partner, just someone who enjoys a leisurely stroll. I would love a nice home with treats and walks and snuggling.

Superman
Hi, I'm Superman! I am an active, energetic, super fun 1 year old chihuahua mix. I'm like those concentrated laundry detergents: in just 12 lbs you get all the energy of a large-sized dog, but I'm easier to carry home. My foster mom jokes that I am one part dog and two parts little fox. I am housebroken, crate trained, neutered, and up to date on my shots, so I'm all set to find a great new home.
LIKES: Being outside, exploring, sniffing, rolling, and running around. Cuddling with my humans. Playing with all kinds of toys, but most especially soft ones. Protecting my toys which are MINE MINE MINE. (Whoops… my foster mom says I will need some guidance in that regard at my new home. Hmph. But they're mine!)
DISLIKES: Boredom. Conformity. Cats. (I tried to tell my foster mom that I don't actually *dislike* them, I just want to chase them. Then she gave me a look. What??)
SUPERPOWERS: Being awesome. I am a legend in my own mind. (...She is giving me that look again.)
