Hi, my name is Onyx! Are you looking for a new best friend? A buddy to play frisbee with? Do you find yourself wishing you had a lap-warmer on these chilly winter evenings? Well look no further, because I'm your girl! I absolutely LOVE to play—in fact, my foster mom says I might be good at something called "agility." But I also settle down nicely and love cuddling and getting belly rubs.

I still need to work on some of my manners, but I've heard my foster mom say I'm very smart and I love our training sessions. If you have the time and patience to give to me now, I promise I'll be the most loyal friend you have.

Snickers

Snickers is a shy, older kitten. He did not get enough attention when he was tiny, so it takes him a while to warm up to humans. He needs an experienced cat adopter or someone really patient and committed to helping him learn to trust his new people. He is still not a fan of being picked up and held, but with more time, that could change. He loves to play with the other kitties and will tend to stick with the boys over the girl kitties. Therefore, Snickers' new home should have another playful kitty to show him the ropes and to let him know it's okay to be a crazy kitty boy.

Guinness

Meet Guinness! Guinness is a 8.5 lb pup who is about 1 year old. He has the markings and the long legs of a Mini Pinscher and the shape of a Chihuahua. He prances around on those long legs like nobody's business! He is a sweet dog but will take some time to warm up to new people. He is nervous in new surroundings and startles easily and will run away. He is very sweet and will follow you around wherever you go. Guinness is good with other dogs but mostly keeps to himself. He will make a great companion for someone who can give him the time he needs to come out of his shell.

Damon

Meet Damon! Damon is 6 months old and the most handsome and sweetest man you will ever meet! Damon has had a rough road the past 6 months, but is so happy to have his head scratched or belly rubbed. Damon was taken in when him and his sibling Stefan were going to be put to sleep by another shelter. Damon was born without eyelids, something that is very rare, but was fixed by the wonderful surgeons at Tufts. He also has a heart murmur due to an enlarged valve in his heart. It is something that will require monitering and he may need medication in the future. Other than that, Damon is your typical kitten! He is friendly, funny, and a little mischief maker! He gets along with dogs, cats, and kids—anyone that will play with him! If you're looking for a great kitten that will steal your heart, Damon is your guy!

Mika

Hi! My name is Mika and I am around 5 years old. I'm smaller than I look in pictures—only about 40 pounds, and I'm full grown! I have been waiting a LONG time for a forever home...I spent about 3 years in a shelter and the last six months in foster homes, but I want to meet the family that will keep me forever. I love people, and am really wonderful with kids! I don't really love other animals though, so I'm looking to be an only pet. I am fully housebroken, very polite, and great in my crate.

I am hoping you are someone who enjoys going for casual walks, car rides, and hanging out on the couch with your special dog friend. I love to roll in the grass and soak up the sun. And nothing is better than having my belly rubbed! I am looking for someone that enjoys what I do and will love me as much as I will love them. By the way, I am spayed, vet checked, vaccinated, de-wormed, flea treated, tested for heartworm disease and microchipped.

Stefan

Age: 6 months old

Meet Stefan! He is a 6-month-old purr machine! Stefan has not had it easy since he has been born, but you would never know it. Stefan, his brother Damon, and their two sisters were taken in because there were to be put to sleep by another shelter. They were born without eyelids, making it so their eyelashes would stick to their eyes and make them very irritated. Unfortunately Stefan had it the worst of the bunch, and one eye got so bad that at 8 weeks old, it had to be removed. However, he does excellently without it and it doesn't affect him at all. Stefan also has a heart murmur that is caused by an enlarged heart valve. Its something that will need to be monitered but in no way affects his day-to-day.

Stefan is so full of love and energy, and is a typical kitten. He is so deserving of a great home! Like his brother Damon, Stefan is very easygoing and gets along with cats, dogs, kids...anyone that is willing to play with him. He will do best in a home with another friendly cat to play around with.

Oscar

Oscar is three years old, house trained, and looking for love and a new home. Beware: this little man has a plan to steal your heart! He will look at you with those puppy eyes, take a treat from your hand, and walk away with a bounce in his step. Although he does love that special spot in the sun, he would rather play Follow the Leader and be where ever you are. When you finally take a seat he'll sit by your feet, roll over, and request a belly rub.

She's a sweet, happy girl who needs someone to give her a chance. She'll be shy at first, but give her time to settle in and she'll be a happy, friendly companion.

Tessa is a shy FIV+ girl who's under a year old. She was found as a stray, but this girl wasn't meant to live on the streets. She's sweet, playful, and gets along very well with her foster brother and sisters (cats and a dog). Tessa is very playful and loves to chase the laser light! She needs an owner who's patient and gives her time to come out of her shell, and would make a great companion to a lonely cat who will help her transition into her new home.

Holly is a 30 lb dark brindle Staffordshire bull terrier mix that cannot wait to find a family to play with her! She's very motivated and eager to please, and happy to learn new tricks if you give her yummy treats when she get things right. A very athletic dog, she loves the outdoors and would make a great joggie/walking partner. She would love a nice yard to run around and play fetch in, and loves loves loves toys!

Yogi

Yogi is a gorgeous 3-year-old large brown, long-haired male with a fluffy tail sprinkled with copper highlights. Even his whiskers are chocolate brown! He has a very lovable personality.

Yogi has tested positive for FIV. FIV cats like Yogi who show no symptoms may live a normal lifespan, provided they are kept indoors. FIV is absolutely not transmittable to people or dogs, and is not easily transmitted to other cats. Yogi is neutered, microchipped, receives a monthly flea preventative and is up to date on his vaccines.
