Callie

Meet Callie! Callie is a 50lb black lab mix that is between 8 and 10 years old. Although this sweet girl is looking for her retirement home, she still has plenty of pep in her step. Callie has had a tough past, but is putting it behind her. She is very motivated to please her people and works hard on her training. Since coming to stay with me she has learned "sit", "stay", how to walk nicely on a leash and has even learned to ring a bell to let you know when she has to go outside. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

Roxy is a four pound female Chi. She will be three years old in Sept. Roxy is good with dogs but prefers them to keep their distance. She has lived in a home with children and was very good with them. She is trained to go outside and is crate trained. This little peanut will make a wonderful addition to almost any family.

Seagull

Seagull is a male Beagle, around 8 years old and 27 lbs. He's a VERY friendly guy and is great with dogs and cats. He's crate trained and housetrained but needs to go outside every five hours or so.

Skippy

Skippy is a calm eight year old guy who is great with other dogs. He loves squeaky toys and playing tug.

Skippy does have a grade three heart murmur and he will be having an echocardiagram done at our vet soon. Please don't let that deter your interest in Skippy as it is common for dogs to live a long, normal life with a heart murmur.

Mushu

Mushu is an adorable 2-year old Jack Russell Terrier mix, weighing in at a perfectly plump 15 pounds.

Why Mushu? Well Mushu grows the a cute little beard that makes him look like the dragon from Mulan -- sure to be a kid-favorite.

There's nothing more lovely then coming home and seeing him waiting at the window, paws on the sill, eager for to greet you. When you're in, he'll jump around, then settle right down. He's one of the calmest JRTs i've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Nothing shakes him; he's phenomenal with dogs (all types, quiet and excited alike), crate-trained, rarely barks, and he's super happy to just lounge around with you all day soaking up sunlight and eating peanuts (he loves those!)

LS is a handsome, two year old, grey tiger boy.

He is affectionate but pretty shy at the moment. He loves to play with bouncy balls and tries to carry it around with him!

He has lived with another cat and seems to get along with most cats just fine but he would prefer a home without dogs.

Lexie

Lexie is a petite, young domestic short hair and Himalayan mix. She's got striking, huge eyes!

Lexie can be affectionate but she can also be quite feisty and have a short temper. She will need some help to relax and become comfortable in her new home but with patience and time we think she will be a great companion for the right owners.

We think that Lexie would do best in a household with experienced cat owners and no small children.

Don't let the name fool you, Spikes is a sweetheart!

He's a two year old black and grey tiger boy who is super sweet. He lived in someone's backyard in East Boston for almost a year and now it's time for him to come inside and have a home of his own.

He's okay with adult cats but would not do well in a home with kittens.
