Brady
Age: Young

Brady is a loving, spunky little ball of fur. He is a 1 1/2-year-old mixed breed and ready to find his forever family. He loves other dogs and he loves to run around and play. He also adores his cuddle time! He bonds quickly to new people and just wants to show you how much of a lovebug he is. He also likes to go for walks and explore outside, or just sit in front of the window and survey the yard.

Cami
Age: Young
Breed(s): Domestic Short Hair
Cami and another cat were abandoned left inside a carrier. They were found by Animal Control and Cami has just come to Broken Tail to find a home. She has one eye with a healed ulcer, so it looks a little cloudy but she sees just fine.
Our volunteers have fallen in love with her. She likes to sit on your shoulder and curl up in your lap. She's definitely a people-cat, not a cat-cat, though, and would be happiest as the only cat in her forever home.

Diamond
Age: Adult
Breed(s): Boston Terrier
Diamond is a happy dog despite only having one eye—she doesn't let that bother her. She's active, playful (loves a game of tug!) and empties the toy basket to select just the right toy! She's really affectionate and is content to sit on your lap or snuggle on the sofa with you in the evening. She's about six years old and weighs 17 lbs.
Diamond has chronic dry eye in her remaining eye and will need to be on eye meds for the rest of her life, although she's very good with taking them and has a prescription ointment to help increase tear production.

Iris
Age: Young
Breed(s): Yorkshire Terrier
Hi there, my name is Iris! I just left my former life as a stray who ended up in a shelter to come to Broken Tail Rescue, and I'm excited to find a family of my own! I am a healthy, up-to-date Yorkie, estimated to be around 2 years old. I am a happy girl who wants nothing more than to be with my people. I am also full of the spunk and sass that Terrier people know and love! I only have 1 eye because when I was found by animal control, my right eye was infected and had to be removed. But my left eye works just fine, so don't let that stop you from meeting me!

Nettie
Age: Adult
Breed(s): Chihuahua
Hi there! My name is Nettie and I am an adult teacup Chi! I weight 5 lbs., but my small size doesnt stop me from playing with my pitbull foster siblings! I love to snuggle, cuddle, and hug, and I love laying out in the sun! I am housebroken, up to date on all my vaccines, spayed, heartworm negative and my foster mom nick named me "little mouse" because of how quiet I am! I sleep in my own bed at night, and I free feed during the day. I am a very easy dog to care for and would make an excellent first time pet for any family, elderly, or someone living in an apartment.

Penny
Age: Young
Breed(s): Terrier/Podengo Portugeuso mix
My name is Penny! I'm about a year-and-half old and 10 lbs. I love to go for walks and to snuggle on laps. I'm housebroken and super smart. I learn quick when you have treats for me. I am good with other dogs who don't bother me too much, and I'm okay with cats. I'm very friendly in a comfortable environment, but I'm still very sensitive so I need an owner who understands this and is willing to work with me. I will need some space and time to adjust to my new environment. New situations and transitions make me nervous. I like routines. A quiet home with with patience and no children is best for me. I love being outside and playing but I also love my quiet time indoors napping.
