Beauty
Beauty is a shy girl but she is starting to come around, she is new in her foster home.
She always announces when she enters the room with small meows as if to say I'M HERE!
She is friendly and should be showing her personality even more as she settles in.
She loves being petted and purrs loudly to let you know it!
Gino
He's fairly shy and scared at the moment but he's beginning to come out of his shell a bit - exploring when he's let out of his cage and interacting with the volunteers. And he certainly gets excited when he hears the cat food cans start to open!
Gino is learning to love cheek and neck scratched and with love and time we think he'll be more outgoing in his forever home.
Parker
My name is Parker. I'm a very sweet 8-9 year old grown up kitty who was found wandering around in Worcester. I may look a little run down, but that's just because I'm still healing from my adventures on the street and am comfortably in foster care eating lots of cat food!
One of my eyes is a little cloudy, but don't let that fool you -- I have a lot of energy and my vision doesn't seem to be affected at all. I still love to play!
Sassy
Sassy is a year old kitty with short hair but a somewhat fluffy tail, and the cutest little ear hair tuft, almost like an American Curl cat. She was named after the sassafras tea. Sassy was being tormented by the other cats in the home and neighborhood so she needs a home where she will be your one and only.
Young children might be too overwhelming for her, but older children in the home would be fine. Her favorite cat toy is a Mylar crinkle ball, but she does play with other toys as well. She's been good about using a sisal rope scratching post and loves the cardboard scratching trays. She's new to our rescue, so check back for more information as we get to know her better.
Matilda
Matilda is a 3 to 4 month old kitten looking for a home with her brother Marlo. Matilda is a striking brown and white little tabby with big yellow eyes. She has been in a foster home for several months and adores people and other cats alike. She is extremely friendly and loves to cuddle. She would do well in a home with kids or other cats, or just anyone who will give her and Marlo lots of love. We are hoping to keep Matilda together with her brother Marlo because they are best buddies and wrestling partners.
Sparky
I am a 3-4 year old 8lb Yorkie, I am GREAT with other dogs and I am fine with cats and good in a crate. OLDER KIDS ONLY as I am protective of my food and I like my own space at times.
I would be GREAT with someone who has the time and patience to work with me. I love my people, and am very affectionate, I love to give kisses and be pet too! I am not a barker, ride well in the car, and love to take walks or play with my buddies outside!
JJ
J is a two year old, 10lb, medium energy, playful Maltese. He's excellent with other dogs, good in his crate after he settles down, and will come when called in the house. So far he seems happy and loving with people he knows, but he barks at strangers on walks. He likes to spend his time rolling around on carpets (a new haircut feels good!) and snuggling with his foster mom on the couch. He loves to follow the resident dog around and try to get him to play, and he was even successful once which is quite the feat!
We haven't had J.J. around kids much but we would recommend that he go to an adult only home. He needs to learn that he is not the boss! He has been extremely loving towards his foster mom and allowing all handling with her, but he prefers that other people don't handle him just yet.
Callie
Meet Callie! Callie is a 50lb black lab mix that is between 8 and 10 years old. Although this sweet girl is looking for her retirement home, she still has plenty of pep in her step. Callie has had a tough past, but is putting it behind her. She is very motivated to please her people and works hard on her training.
Since coming to stay with me she has learned "sit", "stay", how to walk nicely on a leash and has even learned to ring a bell to let you know when she has to go outside. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?
