Cabinet Making in Early 19th Century New England at Old Sturbridge Village

The exhibition illustrates the wide range of objects shaped by the hands of rural cabinetmakers including clock cases, sofas, sideboards, and coffins. Delicate inlay, figured veneers, intricate carvings, and grain-painted surfaces, represent the diversity of decorative processes practiced by a New England cabinet maker to adorn his work.

The exhibition takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

135th Bolton Fair at The Lancaster Fairgrounds 

Enjoy great attractions such as the Tractor pulls, the Lumber Jack Show, Demolition Derby and Monster Trucks will be part of the festivities this year.

Kids Country, The Old MacDonalds Farm petting zoo, livestock exhibits, midway rides and lots of animals provide fun for kids. 

The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
