Basket Making Workshop, Russian Birch Bark Tray

Experience the opportunity to learn a traditional Russian craft in a small group setting with Vladimir Yarish. Classes are suitable for all levels and the fee includes birch bark harvested in Russia by Yarish and all other materials.

The event will take place at the Museum of Russian Icons on 203 Union St in Clinton, Ma.

The cost of the class is $125 for museum members and $135 for nonmembers.

The cost is free with Museum admission.

Art Cart

Head one to the Worcester Art Museum and check out the free Art Carts.

The carts can usually be found in Salisbury Hall, the Renaissance Court, or Helmutt's House in the Knights. Activities at the Art Carts include mosaics, scavenger hunts, drawing and coloring activities, fun games, try on armor and more.

The India Society of Worcester will host India Day for the 27th year on Saturday from 2:30p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at the DCU Center.

The day is a way of commemorating the Indian independence, celebrating the Indian community in Massachusetts and providing a window into Indian culture.

India day is free and open to all.

The history of the samurai will be on display on Saturday at the Worcester Art Museum. Eric Nakamura will be the guest curator, he is the editor and founder of Giant Robot Magazine.

The cost is $14 for adults, $12 for seniors and students and $6 for children 4-17/ The event is free for members and children under 4.
