There is plenty going on around Worcester to keep you busy this weekend. From music to art, there are events for all ages. 

The weekend’s events include Holiday Yoga Flow at Worcester Pop-Up, the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, Worcester Railers hockey and more.

The Worcester Railers are back at the DCU Center to host the Thunder on Friday night. 

The Railers are 12-12-3 overall on the season and are in 7th place in the North divison.

Night Lights Display at Tower Hill Botanic Garden

Night Lights is a walking experience throughout 15 acres of glowing gardens, where more than 200,000 lights have been thematically placed among the trees, shrubs, fountains, and statuary to create a magical winter wonderland celebrating plants and nature.

“The Longest Night Vigil” at City Hall

The night is an evening of remembrance and hope to honor those community members lost from homelessness.

The event, which recognizes Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day, will begin with a candlelight walk at 5 p.m. on Worcester Common.

An interfaith service will follow at 6 p.m. in the Levi Lincoln Chamber.

The keynote speaker will be Brian Bickford, LMHC, Team Leader, PATH Homeless & Outreach Services, Eliot Community Human Services.

The event goes from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

A Christmas Carol at Hanover Theatre 

Celebrate the holiday season with New England’s largest production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, adapted by The Hanover Theatre’s president and CEO Troy Siebels and featuring the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ, New England’s largest theatre pipe organ.

New and returning cast members tell the tale of curmudgeonly miser Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by the ghosts of Christmases Past, Present, and Future.

Holiday Yoga Flow at Worcester Pop-Up

Meet Justine at the Worcester Pop Up for FREE yoga classes through the holidays. These classes are 75 minutes in length and tailored to students of all levels.

Those who join are required to bring a yoga mat. Blocks are recommended to help deepen the practice, but are not required. Make new friends, network and enhance your well being through these free drop in classes
