The Voice's Sam James at Frank's 274 Shrewsbury Street

Worcester's Sam James will perform at 274 Shrewsbury Street on Friday from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

James was part of season two and season three of the show. During Season two, he was eliminated in the blind auditions following his performance of "I Don't Want to Be." 

When he returned in season three, he was a member of Adam Levine's team. He was eliminated in the knockout rounds.

Kahbahblooom explores the Art and Storytelling of Ed Emberley. The show marks the first comprehensive retrospective for Emberley, who is among the most prolific and respected illustrators of children’s literature of the last 60 years.

Helmutt on the Move at Worcester Art Museum  

Helmutt is an armor-wearing boar hound statue; his armor is based on the plate dog armor of a hunting hound of Emperor Charles V. Leonard Heinrich, who was the armorer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, made Helmutts armor as a gift to John Woodman Higgins in 1942.

The exhibit is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
