John Cleese and the Holy Grail at Hanover Theatre 

Legendary actor and comedian John Cleese will be at Hanover Theatre for a night of conversation and audience Q&A.

Absurd and/or ridiculous questions only are requested, please.

Cleese will tell stories of his life and career as well as much more. 

The show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Glassblowing Floppy Bowls at New Street Glass Studio 

Get a taste of the ancient art of glassblowing in this fun one-night course.

After learning the safety and studio etiquette rules, Participants will watch a brief demonstration of this 2000-year-old art before making their very own floppy bowl from glass gathered out of a 2100-degree furnace.

Participants will choose their own colors and instructors will guide the class through the steps from gathering to applying colors, from blowing out the bubble to spinning it open to create each unique floppy shape. No experience is necessary and all materials are included.

This is the opening weekend of the new City Science Exhibit at the EcoTarium. 

The exhibit features seven theme areas and incorporates live animals, interactive components as well as natural history specimens, in order to give kids and families the change to experiment, engineer, watch the science that is happening.

Kahbahblooom explores the Art and Storytelling of Ed Emberley. The show marks the first comprehensive retrospective for Emberley, who is among the most prolific and respected illustrators of children’s literature of the last 60 years.
