Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn at Old Sturbridge Village

Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn at Old Sturbridge Village 

This is the final weekend to see Big River at Old Sturbridge Village. 

The Tony Award-winning musical Big River will take audiences down the Mississippi as the irrepressible Huck Finn helps his friend Jim, a runaway slave, escape to freedom at the mouth of the Ohio River.

Their adventures along the way are hilarious, suspenseful and heartwarming, bringing to life your favorite characters from the novel the Widow Douglas and her stern sister, Miss Watson; the uproarious King and Duke, who may or may not be as harmless as they seem; Huck's partner in crime, Tom Sawyer, and their rowdy gang of pals; Huck's drunken father, the sinister Pap Finn; the lovely Mary Jane Wilkes and her trusting family

The show begins at 7:30 p.m.

The Worcester Bravehearts are back in action at Fitton Field to host the Nashua Silver Knights. 

The Bravehearts are currently 13-16 on the season while the Silver Knights are 13-14. 

First pitch is set for 7 p.m.

Shatta Wale Live in Concert at Hanover Theatre

Recently awarded the Peoples Choice Award winner at the 2017 Ghana Music Honors, Shatta Wale is a Ghanaian-born producer and reggae-dancehall musician.
